Project Info:
JNR Consult Ltd was contracted to monitor and report progress on the implementation of the different project aspects for construction of various project sub-components of the 314 km Lira-Gulu-Nebbi-Arua Transmission line, associated substations at Kole, Gulu, Nebbi and Arua and project auxiliary facilities. This was to support Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development in their oversight role as the lead agency. The aspects include; Environmental and Social Management and Monitoring Plans (ESMMPs), Forest restoration activities, Resettlement Action Plan (RAP), grievance resolution, stakeholder Engagement as well as Gender Based Violence and Violence Against Children (GBV/VAC).
